About The Artist

My family moved to Tiburon in 1963. I started a freelance photography business with a degree in Photojournalism in 1981. I worked for The Ark, The Marin Independent Journal, Lucasfilm, and other commercial clients, as well as documenting local weddings and portraits for 25 years. For the last 15 years I have focused on Natural History education. I am the mother of two and Grandmama of 3. My husband and I live in Corte Madera.

Artist Statement

I had the good fortune of growing up in Tiburon and spending as much time in nature as possible. As a conservation photographer, I make images of places and creatures, imperiled by human development and climate change. This has become an ongoing project, one day to become the book, Wild Marin. I believe that education in Natural History is vital for the survival of wildlife and humans.
