Gary Topper

Gary was born in Los Angeles, and attended UCLA for his BA and MA in business. At 21, he traveled the world for 7 months, taking photos of the people and cultures. Professionally, he was the first wine marketer of the estate wines of California but his passion for photography has continued to lead him throughout the world. The freedom of just wandering in villages and cities and the ability to capture moments in time are his photographic direction.

My passion for photography has focused on the desire to share a meaningful inner experience through the emotional connection between a photograph and the viewer. As a member of the Marin Photography Club I have honed my skills in seeing and composing photographs that create this relationship.
