About The Artist
Ian Price is a graphic designer and artist. His work has been exhibited at the de Young Museum, and Windows for Harvey exhibitions in San Francisco. He appears in an installation in the collection for the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA), More Real, Art in the Age of Truthiness, directed by John Hershcend. He has designed publications for The National Portrait Gallery and The British Museum of London, as well as The Disney Family Museum in San Francisco.
Artist StatementThe image Bridge was inspired by a sense of mystery, and the lasting impression of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. My recent work uses original photography, transforming images into strong clocks of color, while retaining the integrity of the photographs.
