Stephen Ziman

Steve Ziman is a photographer who lives in San Rafael. He is a member of the Marin Photo Club, and was past co-president. He has been taking pictures since he got his first camera almost 50 years ago, and moved to digital from film about 20 years ago. He enjoys traveling overseas, especially to Asia.

Photography gives me a way to be creative, and to look more carefully at what is around me, and to tell a story. I want to create images that reflect the world around me. I don’t specialize in any single type of photography, but focus mainly on landscape, street, architecture, and journalism. I shoot both color and monochrome.
